Welcome to Acton Family Giving’s online application process for submitting an application. Instructions and additional information about the process are available below.

This document includes an overview of the steps involved to log-in to our online application portal, how to create and update your organization profile, how to submit an application, and the list of PDFs to include in the application.
AFG’s Renewal application and New Grantee application have different questions and PDF upload. If you are unsure which application to complete, please reach out your program officer or our grants team.
Log into our application portal to get started!
You will have the ability to save the form and return to complete it at a later time by clicking the “Save Draft” button at the bottom of the page. When returning to complete the form, your draft application will be under “Applications in Progress”.
Submit your application!
If there are any issues with the application, our grants team will reach out directly to you.

May Grant Cycle Timeline
Program Officers begin inviting grantees to submit applications
Staff will assist organizations throughout the process and reach out with any questions if needed.
5:00 PM PST – Application portal will be closed. If you are unable to meet this deadline, reach out to your Program Officer for alternative options.
Organizations will be notified if they have been recommended for a grant.
Our donor advised fund provider will perform due diligence and award or deny our recommendations. Notifications and funds are generally sent within three weeks.
We believe in minimizing our partners’ donor requirements, so grantees can do their best work. In this way, we do not require any reporting, presentations, continued site visits, or donor cultivation.
